So this lady comes up to my register the other day, and is paying for some things.

I asked her if she had a rewards card, and she said she did. Now, if you got the card from another store, and never used it in this one, it will not show up in the computer. Our computers are not hooked up, since the company after all, is a franchise.

Her: I got it from here
Me: Okay, what's your last name?
Her: Last Name
Me: I am sorry, I can't find it, let's try by the phone number

Lady, your ZIP code and AREA code are two different things. I asked you twice what your area code was, and still, you kept giving me your zip code instead.

Oh, and butt smacking lady came back, but I couldn't deal with her, since I was the cashier ;)

The first lady was also a complete ditz. She didn't give me her credit card (she had it in her hand), and kept insisting that I already rang her up, when in fact, she did not. And she obviously didn't get her card from this store, or else it would have came up.

Also, your rewards card =/= credit card.

Hey kids! Just a couple of things.

In case you missed it, earlier this week I made a tagging guideline, so you'll know where to look for what you need, and also so you'll know what to tag your posts with :D

Also, this week, I've rejected a few entries with html mistakes. I don't usually do that unless it's one that's kind of big. I said to fix it, and repost again and to ask me for help in case of any problems. Neither of those have been posted again. :(

I need some advice, and the internet isn't helping me much.
My exercise bike says I'm at 175 RPM and burning some ungodly amount of calories per hour, like 3000 or some such thing... earlier I burned 500 calories in under 15 minutes, no joke. Now, it certainly FEELS like I'm going some ungodly speed, compared to my previous 300-calorie-an-hour stationary ventures, and my rectus abdominus muscles (I think I've got the name right for those) hurt like all fuck after I'm done, like bad enough that I feel the need to take a Celebrex. Basically, my RPM and calories burned at a relatively comfortable speed, at least initially, have gone up and up and up. Like I said, I DO feel like I might just be exerting myself that much, and despite not finding any direct answers online, I did find that a relatively "normal" RPM for people on exercise bikes is more like 50 or 70, not 175.

Anyway, I guess I've determined that if my exercise bike (which is admittedly rather old) is right about my RPM, it's right about my calories burned. Also, seeing as that I feel more or less the same level of tiredness after burning 500 calories in 15 minutes (supposedly) as I did in the past after burning about that much in more like an hour and a half.

What I wanna know is: is my exercise bike's microchip or whatever going haywire, or could I really be going that fast? I haven't been working out enough lately, but for a couple months I'd been consistently doing 60 or 90 minutes every day, or half an hour on days where I didn't feel up to my normal routine. My calories burned per hour had been increasing, and one day after resting for a few days, it was at 400, then 700, and anyway it's just been going up.


I'm sorry if the entry was kind of rambling and hard to follow, lol. But could someone with some knowledge of exercise physiology help me out here? I mean, I'd love it if I'm really doing that, because it means that I wouldn't have to work out as long, but if my exercise bike is lying to me, I want to know so that I don't skimp on the exercise because I think I'm burning more than I am.

We have all heard, whilst most have probably experienced, the phenomenon of transferring eating disorders as one ED becomes redundant in one sense or another. I myself have gone from anorexia to bulimia to anorexia with bulimic tendencies to bulimia with anorexic tendencies etc over the years as one ED has become futile and ceases to provide me with the positives I seek from it whilst producing far too many negatives for it to be worthwhile continuing to pursue.

However my question is has anyone here found that as they have begun to let go of their ED, or to any degree attempted to let go of it, that they have found themselves seeking out other substances to dull and numb their emotional pain?


Sorry if this makes little or no sense... I am unfortunately a little drunk and am not even sure if this all makes sense to me.
